Academics aside, the school boasts of a wide range of extra curricular activities. Development of the mind and body go hand in hand. Amrita provides instruction in various body and mind training techniques like yoga, martial arts, athletic training and more. Yoga is considered as compulsory as any other subject. Students are trained in various breathing exercise and asanas aimed at improving their concentration, memory and overall well being.

Professionals are recruited to train karate, cricket, football and the like. Inter- and Intra-school competitions in these areas give the children the ideal platform to showcase their skills and progress in the arena of sports. The audition for the school team sees stiff competition among the young bundles of talent, who vie with each other to make the mark. These efforts of the school never go unrewarded as is evident from the fact that the students return with an array of cups and medals from wherever they go to compete.
